Hello I am Saba, your Pilates instructor. I am qualified to teach Pilates and hold CYQ level 3 in matwork Pilates and am registered with REPs (The Register of Exercise Professionals). I came across Pilates about five years ago and instantly became a huge fan as I recognised the countless benefits of Pilates.

I am passionate about Pilates and wish to bring the many benefits to others. Through Pilates, I have improved my own posture, flexibility and core strength.

In recent years Pilates has become very popular due to the results people have seen for themselves, It is now also being recommended by medical professionals as a method to strengthen and mobilise the core postural muscles and relief/aid lower back pain.

Pilates works on the principle that a strong core helps support the rest of the body, it also alleviates tight muscles, stiff/aching joints and prevents back pain. Pilates helps to strengthen the core muscles and improve posture, balance and co-ordination which is vital in our daily lives. Pilates routines focus on these as well as increasing body awareness and improved breathing.
