The Len Tyler Music School offers high quality music classes (Kodály^ based) that are good fun.

*    Classes are based in the use of children’s songs and games which have been researched to contain the fundamental elements of music.  The children (and parents) have great fun in the lessons and learn without realising it.  Once the underlying musical elements are established they can be extracted, labelled and the child understands what they are and how they work.  They are then shown how to read and write them.  All great fun but with real depth.

*    22nd week of pregnancy (when the hearing starts to develop) to 8 years and beyond

*    ALL children learn to read basic rhythmic music before starting primary school (no failures – no exceptions – no excuses)

*    Classes in Camberley, Farnham and Fleet

^  The Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály was the figurehead of the education movement in Hungary during the first half of the twentieth century.  As he traveled around Europe he sought out all the “best practices” and had them established in the Hungarian education system.  Kodály effectively means “all the best practices”.  There are now major Kodály organisations across the country.  Google to find out more.
